Quartile Rankings measure how well a fund has performed over a particular time period compared to others in its sector.

Rankings go from 1 to 4.

A ranking of 1 means that the fund has been in the top quarter of funds and a ranking of 4 means the fund has been in the bottom quarter.

Codes

Codes

Each fund has several codes that are used to uniquely identify them. You may need to use the SL Fund Code when you buy or sell funds with Standard Life.

KIID or SID

KIID/SID

Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs) are available for most mutual funds and Supplementary Information Documents (SIDs) are available for most insured funds available through life products, such as bonds.

These documents give key information about the fund, including its objectives and risks, what it invests in and its charges.

If available, it's important to read the KIID or SID before you choose a fund.

Insured funds available through pension products don�t have a KIID or a SID. These have factsheets, which you can see by clicking on the Factsheets & Fund codes tab.
